Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is a lot better than Samsung Galaxy Tab, having a overall score of 75.8 against 58.6. Both tablets in this comparison review come with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has the newer 4.4.2 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab has Android 2.3.3, giving lots of additional features. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is a a lot newer and extremely thinner tablet device than Samsung Galaxy Tab, although it's also notably heavier.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) counts with a much sharper display than Galaxy Tab, because it has a lot better pixel number per inch in the screen, a lot better 1600 x 2560px resolution and a lot larger display. Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a way bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab. Both have equal 32 GB internal memory capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a much better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab, because it has 2,5 GB more RAM, a higher number of cores and an additional graphics co-processor.
