Comparison review
Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a score of 75.8, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4's 75.2 overall score. Both of these tablets include the same Android 4.4.2 OS (Operating System), so both of them should count with identical operating system features. The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is a way heavier and just a little bit thicker tablet than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features a bit better looking screen than Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), because although it has a bit smaller display, and they both have the same exact resolution of 2560 x 1600, the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also counts with a just a little higher number of pixels in each inch of display.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 and Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) have incredibly similar processing units, and although the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have a Quad-Core processing unit and a 450 megahertz graphics processor. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4's memory to install applications and games is very similar to the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) one, both have a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 64 GB and the same internal storage capacity.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014). Both of them have a 8 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera, the same video definition and the same video frame rate. The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) features a much longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because it has 8220mAh of battery capacity instead of 4800mAh.
Although Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, letting go a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your savings.
