Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab S8 is a little bit better than Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), with a overall score of 76.7 against 75.8. The Galaxy Tab S8 construction is much newer, just a bit lighter and somewhat thinner than the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014). Both of these devices have Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab S8 has an older 13 version and Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has Android 4.4.2.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a way better screen than Galaxy Tab S8, because although it has a bit smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1600 x 2560px, the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) also counts with a just a bit greater quantity of pixels in each inch of display. Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a way better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, because although it has lesser RAM and 4 less cpu cores , it also counts with an extra graphics processing unit.

Galaxy Tab S8 counts with much more memory capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), because it has more internal storage and an external memory card slot that allows up to 1 TB. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 takes a lot better photos and videos than Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), because it has a much higher 3840x2160 video definition and a way higher resolution camera in the back.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) counts with just a bit longer battery life than Galaxy Tab S8, because it has an 8220mAh battery capacity against 8000mAh.

Although Galaxy Tab S8 is a better device, it costs a bit more than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014). If you prefer to save some money, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), and give up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
