Even being the best in our current comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 construction is a little bit thicker and a bit heavier than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8. Both tablets in this review work with Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a newer 4.4.2 version and Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 has Android 4.4 version.
The Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 counts with a brighter display than Galaxy Note 8.0, and although they both have a same size screen, the Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 also has a greater screen density and a way better resolution of 1920 x 1200. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with a lot bigger memory to install applications and games than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8. Both have equal internal storage.
The Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 has a bit faster processor than Galaxy Note 8.0, because although it has a weaker GPU, and they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 also counts with a higher number of cores. Galaxy Note 8.0 features just a bit better battery life than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, because it has 4600mAh of battery capacity.
