IPad mini 2 is much better than the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, getting a overall score of 77.2 against 69.2. The iPad mini 2 counts with iOS 8.x operating system, while Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with Android 4.4.2 operating system. The iPad mini 2 design is a bit thinner but a little bit heavier than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, and they were released only 8 months apart.
IPad mini 2 features a processor that is very similar to the Galaxy Note 8.0 one, because although the iPad mini 2 has a weaker GPU running at 600 megahertz, less RAM and a lower number of slower cores, it also counts with a 64-bit CPU. The iPad mini 2 counts with a lot better display than Galaxy Note 8.0, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a much greater display density and a lot higher 1536 x 2048 resolution.
