The Galaxy Note 8.0 has a global score of 69.2, which is better than Asus Fonepad Note 6's overall score of 58.7. The Galaxy Note 8.0 construction is much thinner but noticeably heavier than Asus Fonepad Note 6. Both of these tablets use Android operating system, but the Galaxy Note 8.0 has newer 4.4.2 version and Asus Fonepad Note 6 has Android 4.4, giving you some additional features.
Asus Fonepad Note 6 counts with a much sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, because although it has a lot smaller display, it also counts with a way greater display density and a lot higher resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with a bit better CPU than Asus Fonepad Note 6, and although they both have 2 GB of RAM, the Galaxy Note 8.0 also has an additional graphics processing unit and a higher number of cores.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 and Asus Fonepad Note 6 feature similar memory capacity to store more games and applications, they have equal internal storage capacity and an external SD slot that holds up to 64 GB. The Galaxy Note 8.0 features a much better battery lifetime than Asus Fonepad Note 6. The Galaxy Note 8.0 takes just a bit better photographs and videos than Asus Fonepad Note 6, although it has a much worse 1280x720 video quality and a lot less megapixels resolution back camera.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 costs a bit more than Asus Fonepad Note 6, but you can get a better tablet for that few more dollars.
