Comparison review

The Galaxy Note 8.0 is way better than the Asus VivoTab, getting a 69.2 score against 57.5. Although the Galaxy Note 8.0 and Asus VivoTab were only released with a couple months difference, the Galaxy Note 8.0 is notably lighter and just a little bit thinner. The Galaxy Note 8.0 works with Android 4.4.2 operating system, while Asus VivoTab counts with Windows 8 operating system.

Galaxy Note 8.0 features a little sharper screen than Asus VivoTab, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 800 x 1280px and a really smaller screen, it also counts with a greater pixel density. Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Asus VivoTab, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 also has a much better 1064 MHz graphics processor and a higher number of cores (although slower).

Asus VivoTab counts with a much better memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Note 8.0, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 48 GB more internal memory. Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 features just a bit better camera than Asus VivoTab, although it has a camera with a lot lower 5 mega-pixels resolution and a lot lower 1280x720 video quality.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with a much longer battery duration than Asus VivoTab.

Galaxy Note 8.0 costs a bit more money than the Asus VivoTab, but it's still a convenient choice, as you can get a lot more for that extra money.
