The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a score of 69.2, which is much better than the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1's 62.7 score. Even though Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 and the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 were released with only a couple months difference, Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is incredibly lighter and thinner. These tablets have Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a newer 4.4.2 version and Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has Android 4.0.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a bit more powerful CPU than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because it has more RAM memory, a better graphics processing unit working at 1.06 gigahertz and a higher number of faster cores. Galaxy Note 8.0 has a bit sharper screen than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because although it has a really smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, the Galaxy Note 8.0 also counts with a greater pixel amount in each inch of display.
The Galaxy Note 8.0 has a much bigger memory for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, and although they both have a SD card slot that holds up to 64 GB, the Galaxy Note 8.0 also has 8 GB more internal storage. Galaxy Note 8.0 captures much clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because it has a much better resolution camera in the back.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 features a very superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has a 52 percent bigger battery capacity.
