Galaxy Note 8.0 has a much better storage capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 64 GB, the Galaxy Note 8.0 also has more internal memory capacity. Galaxy Note 8.0 features just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have the same (HD) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy Note 8.0 also has a camera in the back with a lot better resolution.
Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) counts with a superior battery lifetime than Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has a 7000mAh battery capacity.
