Comparison review

Galaxy Note 8.0 has an overall score of 69.2, which is better than the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1)'s global score of 61.4. Both tablets in our current comparison use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Note 8.0 has the newer 4.4.2 version while Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has Android 4.1. The Galaxy Note 8.0 is a newer tablet device, and it is also way lighter and thinner than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1).

Galaxy Note 8.0 features just a bit better looking screen than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has a really smaller screen, and they both have the same 800 x 1280 resolution, the Galaxy Note 8.0 also counts with a better screen pixels density. Galaxy Note 8.0 has a much greater performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has a graphics processing unit, more RAM and 2 more CPU cores.

Galaxy Note 8.0 has a much better storage capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 64 GB, the Galaxy Note 8.0 also has more internal memory capacity. Galaxy Note 8.0 features just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have the same (HD) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy Note 8.0 also has a camera in the back with a lot better resolution.

Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) counts with a superior battery lifetime than Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has a 7000mAh battery capacity.

In addition to being the best tablet in our comparison, Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is also a bargain compared to others.
