Comparison review

Galaxy Note 8.0 has a score of 69.2, which is much better than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE's 61.7 score. These tablets include Android operating system, but the Galaxy Note 8.0 has a newer 4.4.2 version while Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has Android 4.1 version, counting with lots of additional features and performance tweaks. The Galaxy Note 8.0 design is a little lighter and thinner than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, although both of them were released only a couple of months apart.

Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with a quite superior hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a higher number of cores (and faster), a larger amount of RAM and a better graphics processing unit working at 1.06 gigahertz. The Galaxy Note 8.0 features a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a little larger screen, a just a bit better pixel number in each display inch and a better resolution of 800 x 1280px.

Galaxy Note 8.0 features a much bigger memory for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 64 GB, the Galaxy Note 8.0 also has 8 GB more internal storage capacity. The Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 1280x720 (HD) video quality, the Galaxy Note 8.0 also has a camera in the back with much more MP.

The Galaxy Note 8.0 has just a little better battery duration than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has 4600mAh of battery capacity.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, giving up a couple specs and features.
