The Galaxy Note 8.0 is just a bit better than the Galaxy Tab 7.7, getting a general score of 69.2 against 64.8. Both tablets we are comparing work with Android OS, but the Galaxy Note 8.0 has the newer 4.4.2 version and Galaxy Tab 7.7 has Android 4.0.4 version, providing some additional features and better performance. Galaxy Note 8.0 is a just a little heavier device than Galaxy Tab 7.7, but both of them are 0.31inches thick.
Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a little more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 also counts with a just a little more pixels per screen inch. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 features a superior memory to install games and applications than Galaxy Note 8.0, because although it has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 32 GB against 64 GB, it also counts with more internal storage.
Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with a quite superior processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, because it has a faster 1.06 GHz graphics processing unit, a higher number of cores and a higher amount of RAM. Galaxy Tab 7.7 has just a bit longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has a 5100mAh battery size instead of 4600mAh.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a much better camera than Galaxy Tab 7.7, and although they both have the same 1280x720 video quality and the same video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 also has a camera with a much better 5 megapixels resolution.
