These tablets work with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has 4.4.2 version while Galaxy Tab 8.9 has Android 3.0 version, giving you some extra features. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is a little more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
