Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is much better than the Galaxy Tab, with a global score of 69.2 against 58.6. Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0's body is noticeably newer, lighter and a lot thinner than the Galaxy Tab. Both of these devices have Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has 4.4.2 version and Galaxy Tab has Android 2.3.3 version, so it gives some extra features.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has just a bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has a bit more pixels per inch of screen, a bit larger screen and a better resolution of 800 x 1280px. The Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with a slightly bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Tab, although it has 0 less internal memory capacity.

The Galaxy Note 8.0 has a much better performing CPU than Galaxy Tab, because it has more RAM, a higher number of cores (and faster) and an extra graphics co-processor. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a bit better battery duration than Galaxy Tab, because it has a 15% bigger battery size. Galaxy Note 8.0 takes much better pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab, because it has a much higher 1280x720 (HD) video definition and a much more megapixels back camera.

The Galaxy Note 8.0 costs a lot more than the Samsung Galaxy Tab, but it's still a good choice, because you can get a lot more for that extra money.
