Galaxy Note 8.0 is a lot better than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, getting a 69.2 score against 57.6. Both devices we compare here use Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Note 8.0 has the previous 4.4.2 version and Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Galaxy Note 8.0's body has the same thickness than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, but it's a little lighter.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 costs a little more than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, but it's still a good choice, because you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
