Galaxy Note 8.0 has an overall score of 68.4, which is slightly better than LG G Pad 8.3's general score of 65.9. Galaxy Note 8.0's design weights the same than the LG G Pad 8.3, but it's a bit thinner. Both tablets in this review come with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Note 8.0 has the older 4.4.2 version while LG G Pad 8.3 has Android 5.0.
Galaxy Note 8.0 has just a little better processing power than LG G Pad 8.3, and although they both have a 2 GB RAM memory and 4 CPU cores, the Galaxy Note 8.0 also has a graphics co-processor. LG G Pad 8.3 features a sharper display than Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has a better pixel amount per display inch, a much higher 1200 x 1920 resolution and a little larger screen.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a superior storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than LG G Pad 8.3, and although they both have an external memory slot that holds up to 64 GB, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 also has more internal memory. LG G Pad 8.3's battery life is very similar to the battery duration in Galaxy Note 8.0.
The LG G Pad 8.3 features a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, and although they both have a back camera with a 5 mega-pixels resolution, the LG G Pad 8.3 also has a way higher (Full HD) video quality.
Despite of being the best tablet in our current comparison, the Galaxy Note 8.0 is also a bit cheaper.
