Google Nexus 7 has an overall score of 57.1, which is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Player 4.2's score of 53.1. Google Nexus 7 is a somewhat thicker and heavier tablet than Samsung Galaxy Player 4.2. Both of these tablets work with Android OS (operating system), but Google Nexus 7 has the newer 5.1 version and Samsung Galaxy Player 4.2 has Android 2.3.5 version.
