The Apple iPad 3 is much better than the Galaxy Tab 10.1v, having a general score of 71.1 against 57.1. The Apple iPad 3 body is newer and somewhat thinner than Galaxy Tab 10.1v's, although it's a little heavier. Apple iPad 3 works with iOS 6.1 operating system, while Galaxy Tab 10.1v comes with Android 3.0 operating system.
