LG G Pad 8.0 is slightly better than the Galaxy Tab 10.1v, with a score of 58.6 against 57.1. The LG G Pad 8.0 is a noticeably lighter and just a little bit thinner tablet than Galaxy Tab 10.1v. These devices have Android OS (Operating System), but LG G Pad 8.0 has a more recent 5.0 version while Galaxy Tab 10.1v has Android 3.0, providing the user a couple additional features and optimized performance.

The LG G Pad 8.0 features a better CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v, because it has a higher number of cores and an extra graphics co-processor. The LG G Pad 8.0 counts with just a bit better display than Galaxy Tab 10.1v, because although it has a much smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same 1280 x 800 resolution, the LG G Pad 8.0 also counts with a higher display density.

LG G Pad 8.0 has a way bigger storage to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v, and although they both have equal 16 GB internal storage capacity, the LG G Pad 8.0 also has a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 64 GB. Galaxy Tab 10.1v has a way better camera than LG G Pad 8.0, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the Galaxy Tab 10.1v also has a much better resolution back camera.

Galaxy Tab 10.1v has a much longer battery duration than LG G Pad 8.0, because it has a 63 percent more battery capacity.
