Comparison review

The LG G Pad X 8.3 has an overall score of 63.8, which is better than the Galaxy Tab 10.1v's overall score of 57.1. Both of these devices include Android OS (operating system), but the LG G Pad X 8.3 has the newer 6.0 Marshmallow version while Galaxy Tab 10.1v has Android 3.0 version, giving a couple additional features and improved performance. The LG G Pad X 8.3 is a noticeably newer device, and it's also noticeably thinner and notably lighter than the Galaxy Tab 10.1v.

The LG G Pad X 8.3 has a faster processor than Galaxy Tab 10.1v, because it has a higher number of cores. The LG G Pad X 8.3 counts with a bit sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a much better display density and a lot higher 1080 x 1920 resolution.

LG G Pad X 8.3's camera is just as good as the camera in Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v, and although the LG G Pad X 8.3 has better 30 fps video frame rates, they both have a same resolution back-facing camera and the same (Full HD) video definition. LG G Pad X 8.3 counts with a superior memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 10.1v, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the LG G Pad X 8.3 also has an external memory card slot that admits up to 128 GB.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v features a much better battery performance than LG G Pad X 8.3, because it has a 43 percent bigger battery size.
