Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has a score of 61.4, which is a bit better than the Galaxy Tab 10.1v's 57.1 overall score. Both of these tablets include Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has the newer 4.1 version and Galaxy Tab 10.1v has Android 3.0, so it provides a lot of extra features. The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) design is newer, somewhat thinner and a bit lighter than the Galaxy Tab 10.1v.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) features a bit more powerful processor than Galaxy Tab 10.1v. They have the same number of cores. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v has a bit more vivid display than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1). Both have a screen of the same size, the same count of pixels in each inch in the screen and the same exact resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels.

Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has more storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v, because although it has 0 less internal memory, it also counts with an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 64 GB.
