The Galaxy Note 8.0 has a general score of 67.1, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1)'s general score of 61.4. Galaxy Note 8.0's construction is newer, lighter and somewhat thinner than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1). These devices use Android operating system, but Galaxy Note 8.0 has a newer 4.4.2 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has Android 4.1, giving a couple additional features and performance improvements.

Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with a little more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has a way smaller display, and they both have the same exact 800 x 1280px resolution, the Galaxy Note 8.0 also counts with a greater display pixel density.
