Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is a little bit better than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, having a general score of 61.4 against 60.8. Both tablets in this comparison review come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has older 4.1 version while Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has Android 4.2.2 version. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is an older, way heavier and just a little thicker tablet device than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7.

Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 counts with a much better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has a way smaller display, it also counts with a much greater quantity of pixels per inch of display and a lot better 1200 x 1920 resolution. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 counts with a lot bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory.

Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a much better performing CPU than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has an extra graphics processor, a larger number of faster cores and 1 GB more RAM memory. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has a really longer battery performance than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) shoots much clearer videos and photos than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7.

Although Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), else you can save some dollars and get the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, resigning a couple specs and features.
