Comparison review
The iPad mini 2 is much better than the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), getting a general score of 77.2 against 61.4. IPad mini 2's body is newer, a lot lighter and way thinner than the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1). The iPad mini 2 comes with iOS 8.x operating system, while Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) counts with Android 4.1 operating system.
The iPad mini 2 counts with a much better performing processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have a Dual-Core CPU and 1 GB of RAM, the iPad mini 2 also has an additional GPU and a 64-bits CPU. IPad mini 2 counts with a lot better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has a much smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels and a much higher display pixels density.
Apple iPad mini 2 takes much clearer photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has a lot higher video resolution and a camera in the back with way more megapixels. The iPad mini 2 has a much better storage for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with more internal memory.
The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has just a little better battery duration than Apple iPad mini 2, because it has an 8% bigger battery capacity.
Apple iPad mini 2 is more expensive than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), but you can get a much better tablet for that few more dollars.
