Comparison review

Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has a general score of 61.4, which is a little bit better than the Asus VivoTab's 57.5 global score. The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) design is somewhat thicker but lighter than Asus VivoTab, and both were only released 3 months apart. The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) comes with Android 4.1 operating system, and Asus VivoTab has Windows 8 operating system.

Asus VivoTab and Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) feature quite similar screens, because although the Asus VivoTab has a little worse pixels density, it also counts with a slightly better resolution of 768 x 1366px and a bit larger display. The Asus VivoTab has a faster CPU than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have a Dual-Core processing unit, the Asus VivoTab also has more RAM and an additional graphics processor.

The Asus VivoTab takes a little bit better photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has a lot higher 1920x1080 video definition and a camera with lot more megapixels. The Asus VivoTab counts with much more memory for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 56 GB more internal storage.

The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has a very superior battery duration than Asus VivoTab.

Although Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Asus VivoTab, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Asus VivoTab. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), otherwise you can save some money and get the Asus VivoTab, letting go some specs and features.
