The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has an overall score of 61.4, which is just a bit better than Asus VivoTab RT's score of 61. Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) comes with Android 4.1 operating system, and Asus VivoTab RT works with Windows RT operating system. Although it's the best in this review, it must be told that it is also a just a little heavier and thicker tablet.
The Asus VivoTab RT counts with a little faster CPU than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has a greater amount of RAM and 2 more cpu cores. Asus VivoTab RT features a little more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have a display of the same size, the Asus VivoTab RT also has a bit higher resolution of 768 x 1366px and a little more pixels per inch of display.
The Asus VivoTab RT counts with a way bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity. The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) features a much better battery lifetime than Asus VivoTab RT.
Asus VivoTab RT takes much better photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has a much better video quality and a much better resolution back facing camera.
Although Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Asus VivoTab RT, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Asus VivoTab RT. If you prefer to save some money, you can get the Asus VivoTab RT, and give up a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
