Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is a little bit better than the Asus VivoTab Smart, with a 61.4 score against 58.7. Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is a just a bit heavier tablet than the Asus VivoTab Smart, but they are 0.38inches thick. The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) works with Android 4.1 OS, while Asus VivoTab Smart counts with Windows 8 OS.
Asus VivoTab Smart counts with a bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Asus VivoTab Smart also has a slightly higher resolution of 768 x 1366 and a bit higher screen density. Asus VivoTab Smart has a way bigger memory for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 56 GB more internal memory capacity.
Asus VivoTab Smart has a better performing processing unit than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have a Dual-Core processing unit, the Asus VivoTab Smart also has a GPU and a larger amount of RAM memory. Asus VivoTab Smart has a superior camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has a lot more MP back camera and a way better video resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has a much better battery lifetime than Asus VivoTab Smart.
Although Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is a better device, it costs more money than the Asus VivoTab Smart, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Asus VivoTab Smart. If you want to save some money, you can get the Asus VivoTab Smart, and give up some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your money.
