Even being the best portable tablet in this comparison review, Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is a somewhat heavier and just a little thicker portable tablet than LG G Pad 10.1. Both devices in this comparison have Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has an older 4.1 version while LG G Pad 10.1 has Android 5.0.
