The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is much better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), with a 75.8 score against 61.4. These devices use Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has the newer 4.4.2 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has Android 4.1 version, providing the user some additional features and performance improvements. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) design is newer, thinner and just a bit lighter than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1).

Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) features an incredibly better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) also has a way better 1600 x 2560 resolution and a lot more pixels per display inch. Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) features a much greater hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has a larger number of cores, 2 GB more RAM and an extra GPU.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) captures a bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has a lot more mega pixels back camera and a much better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution. The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) counts with a much better memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 64 GB, the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) also has 32 GB internal storage capacity.

Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) features a bit superior battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has a 17% more battery capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is way more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), but you can get a much better tablet for that few extra dollars.
