Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has a general score of 61.4, which is slightly better than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus's 60.8 general score. Both tablets in this comparison review include Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has the previous 4.1 version while Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has Android 4.1.2 version. The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) design is noticeably heavier but just a bit thinner than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, and both of them were released with only 5 months difference.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has a slightly better display than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has a way smaller screen and a much lower 600 x 1024 resolution, it also counts with a bit greater pixel amount in each screen inch. The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus features a bit faster processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1). Both have a Dual-Core processor and the same RAM amount.

Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) features a superior camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus. They have the same (HD) video resolution, a same resolution back camera and the same video frame rate. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus counts with a much bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 64 GB, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus also has 32 GB internal storage capacity.

Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) counts with a much longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because it has 7000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) not only is the best tablets in our current comparison, but it's also by far the cheapest one, which makes this tablet a no doubt choice.
