Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is just a bit better than the Acer Iconia W510, with a global score of 62.7 against 57.5. Although it's the best tablet in our current comparison, the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 construction is just a bit thicker and just a bit heavier than the Acer Iconia W510. Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 counts with Android 4.0 operating system, while Acer Iconia W510 works with Windows 8 operating system.
Acer Iconia W510 has a display that's just as good as the screen in Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, and although the Acer Iconia W510 has a slightly higher resolution of 768 x 1366 pixels and a quite higher number of pixels in each inch in the screen, they both have a display of the same size. The Acer Iconia W510 has a much bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 64 GB, the Acer Iconia W510 also has more internal storage.
The Acer Iconia W510 features a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, and although they both have 2 CPU cores, the Acer Iconia W510 also has a better 533 MHz GPU and 1 GB more RAM memory. Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 counts with a way better battery performance than Acer Iconia W510, because it has a 98 percent larger battery capacity.
The Acer Iconia W510 shoots better videos and photos than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because it has a camera with a way higher resolution.
Although Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Acer Iconia W510, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Acer Iconia W510. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Acer Iconia W510, giving up a couple specs and features.
