Comparison review
IPad 3 has an overall score of 71.1, which is much better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1's 62.7 score. IPad 3's construction is somewhat heavier but a bit thinner than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, and both were only released with a couple months difference. IPad 3 works with iOS 6.1 OS, and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has Android 4.0 OS.
The iPad 3 has a lot better screen than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with much more pixels per screen inch and a much higher resolution of 1536 x 2048px. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 counts with a little bit better performance than Apple iPad 3, and although they both have the same RAM amount and 2 cores, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 also has an additional GPU.
The iPad 3 has a much better storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. IPad 3 captures much better photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because it has a camera in the back with a lot higher 5 mega pixels resolution.
Apple iPad 3 features a much longer battery performance than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because it has 11560mAh of battery capacity.
Apple iPad 3 not only is the best devices of the ones we compare here, but it's also by far the cheapest one.
