Comparison review
Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has a general score of 62.7, which is a little bit better than the iPod Touch 5th Generation's 62.7 score. Although it's the best in this comparison, Galaxy Tab 2 10.1's body is incredibly heavier and way thicker than the iPod Touch 5th Generation. Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has Android 4.0 OS, while iPod Touch 5th Generation has iOS 7.x OS.
The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 counts with just a little better hardware performance than iPod Touch 5th Generation, and although they both have 2 cpu cores and a 400 megahertz GPU, the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 also has more RAM. The Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation has a much better looking display than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because although it has a lot smaller display and a bit lower resolution of 1136 x 640, it also counts with way more pixels per inch of display.
IPod Touch 5th Generation has a way bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory. Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 counts with a much longer battery lifetime than iPod Touch 5th Generation, because it has 7000mAh of battery capacity.
The Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation features a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because it has a camera with much more MP.
Although Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is a better device, it is way more expensive than iPod Touch 5th Generation, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the iPod Touch 5th Generation. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, otherwise you can save some money and buy the iPod Touch 5th Generation, resigning a couple features and specs.
