Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has a global score of 62.7, which is just a bit better than Asus VivoTab's general score of 57.5. Even though Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 and the Asus VivoTab were released only a couple months apart, Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1's body is somewhat thicker but also lighter. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 comes with Android 4.0 operating system, while Asus VivoTab has Windows 8 operating system.

Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has a little bit better looking display than Asus VivoTab, because although it has a quite smaller display and a bit lower 800 x 1280px resolution, it also counts with a little greater pixels quantity in each inch of display. The Asus VivoTab counts with a much greater storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with more internal memory.

Asus VivoTab has a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Asus VivoTab also has a greater amount of RAM and a better GPU working at 533 megahertz. Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 features a much better battery duration than Asus VivoTab. The Asus VivoTab captures much better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because it has a lot more MP back-facing camera.

The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is a lot more expensive than Asus VivoTab, but you can get a better tablet for that extra dollars.
