Comparison review
Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is a little bit better than the Asus VivoTab RT, having a 62.7 score against 61. Even being the best tablet device in this review, Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is an a little heavier and thicker tablet device than the Asus VivoTab RT. Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 works with Android 4.0 operating system, and Asus VivoTab RT comes with Windows RT operating system.
Asus VivoTab RT counts with a display that is very similar to the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 one, and although the Asus VivoTab RT has a little greater pixels quantity in each inch of display and a bit higher 768 x 1366 pixels resolution, they both have a display of the same size. The Asus VivoTab RT has a way bigger storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 features just a little better performance than Asus VivoTab RT, because although it has 1 GB less RAM and an inferior number of cores , it also counts with an extra graphics processor. Asus VivoTab RT shoots a lot better photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because it has a back-facing camera with lot more mega-pixels.
Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 counts with a really longer battery performance than Asus VivoTab RT.
Although Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Asus VivoTab RT, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Asus VivoTab RT. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Asus VivoTab RT, giving up a couple features and specs.
