Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has a global score of 62.7, which is just a bit better than the Asus ZenPad Z8's global score of 61.9. Even being the best in this comparison review, the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 construction is a lot older, incredibly heavier and much thicker than Asus ZenPad Z8. The Asus ZenPad Z8 has a better display than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because although it has a much smaller display, it also counts with a much better display pixel density and a lot higher 1536 x 2048 pixels resolution.
The Asus ZenPad Z8 counts with a little bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with 4 more cpu cores and more RAM. The Asus ZenPad Z8 captures much better photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because it has a way more mega-pixels back facing camera.
The Asus ZenPad Z8 counts with a much better storage capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because it has 16 GB internal memory capacity and an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB. The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 features a much better battery lifetime than Asus ZenPad Z8, because it has 7000mAh of battery capacity against 4680mAh.
