Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has an overall score of 62.7, which is just a bit better than Lenovo Tab S8-50's 59.6 general score. These tablets come with Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has an older 4.0 version while Lenovo Tab S8-50 has Android 4.4. Lenovo Tab S8-50 has a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with 1 GB more RAM memory and a larger number of cores.
The Lenovo Tab S8-50 has a much better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because although it has a really smaller display, it also counts with a much greater display pixel density and a way higher resolution of 1920 x 1200px. The Lenovo Tab S8-50 counts with a very superior camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because it has a way higher resolution back-facing camera.
Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 features a bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Lenovo Tab S8-50, although it has only 8 GB internal memory. Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 features a much better battery duration than Lenovo Tab S8-50, because it has 7000mAh of battery capacity against 4290mAh.
Although Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Lenovo Tab S8-50, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Lenovo Tab S8-50. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, otherwise you can save some money and get the Lenovo Tab S8-50, giving up a couple features and specs.
