Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has a score of 62.7, which is a little bit better than the LG G Pad 8.0's global score of 58.6. These devices have Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has the previous 4.0 version and LG G Pad 8.0 has Android 5.0. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is a just a little bit thinner but heavier portable tablet than LG G Pad 8.0.

The LG G Pad 8.0 features a processor that's just as good as the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 one, and although the LG G Pad 8.0 has more CPU cores (but slower) and a faster 450 MHz graphics processor, they both have a 1 GB RAM. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 counts with a much longer battery life than LG G Pad 8.0, because it has 7000mAh of battery capacity against 4200mAh.
LG G Pad 8.0 takes much clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because it has a back facing camera with much more megapixels.
Although Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than LG G Pad 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG G Pad 8.0. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the LG G Pad 8.0, resigning some features and specifications.
