The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is slightly better than the Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition, getting a score of 62.7 against 60.4. Both tablets in this review use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has a newer 4.0 version and Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition has Android 3.2 version, so it offers a couple nice extra features. The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 construction is newer, but a little bit thicker and extremely heavier than the Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition.
The Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition counts with a sharper display than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have the same exact resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, the Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition also counts with a little more pixels per inch of display. Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 counts with a bit better processing power than Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition, and although they both have the same number of cores and a 1 GB RAM, the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 also has a better 400 MHz graphics processing unit.
Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition counts with a lot better camera than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because it has a much more MP camera in the back. The Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition has a quite bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 32 GB internal memory.
Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 counts with a really longer battery lifetime than Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition, because it has 7000mAh of battery capacity.
