The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, getting a 68.4 score against 62.7. Both tablets we compare here have Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a more recent 4.4.2 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has Android 4.0. Even when the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 were released only 5 months apart, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is extremely lighter and somewhat thinner.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 features just a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because it has a larger amount of RAM memory, more CPU cores and a much better GPU. Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with a little bit better looking display than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because although it has a much smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 800 x 1280 resolution, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 also counts with more pixels per inch of screen.
The Galaxy Note 8.0 features much more storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, and although they both have an external memory slot that holds up to 64 GB, the Galaxy Note 8.0 also has 24 GB more internal memory. The Galaxy Note 8.0 captures way better videos and photos than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because it has a camera in the back with a lot higher resolution.
The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 features a much better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has a 7000mAh battery size.
In addition to being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing, the Galaxy Note 8.0 is also by far the cheapest one.
