The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) design is a lot newer, noticeably lighter and just a little bit thinner than the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. These tablets work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has the newer 8.1 Oreo version and Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has Android 4.0, so it counts with a couple nice extra features and increased performance.
