Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, with a 62.3 score against 61.7. These tablets use Android operating system, but Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 has a newer 4.4 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has Android 4.1, so it counts with lots of additional features and performance improvements. The Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 body is a lot thinner and lighter than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE.

The Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 features a quite better performance than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a higher number of cores, a much better graphics co-processor and 1 GB more RAM. Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 counts with a lot better looking display than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a much better resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, a little bigger screen and a lot better pixels density.

Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE takes slightly better photographs and videos than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, although it has a way less mega pixels back-facing camera. Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE features a better memory capacity for games and applications than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, although it has just 8 GB internal storage.
