The Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation is slightly better than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, getting a global score of 62.7 against 61.7. Even though Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation and the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE were released with only a couple months difference, Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation is noticeably thinner and extremely lighter. Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation works with iOS 7.x operating system, and Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE works with Android 4.1 operating system.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has a bit faster CPU than iPod Touch 5th Generation, and although they both have a Dual-Core processor and a 400 MHz graphics processing unit, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE also has 512 MB more RAM. Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation counts with a much better storage for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 56 GB more internal storage capacity. The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has a superior battery lifetime than iPod Touch 5th Generation, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 1030mAh.
Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation counts with a way better camera than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a way higher 1920x1080 video quality and a back-facing camera with lot more mega-pixels.
Although iPod Touch 5th Generation is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE.
