Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE is slightly better than Asus Fonepad 7, getting a 61.7 score against 58.9. Even being the best in our current comparison, Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE is a somewhat heavier and just a bit thicker portable tablet than Asus Fonepad 7. These devices have Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has the older 4.1 version while Asus Fonepad 7 has Android 5.0 version.

Asus Fonepad 7 counts with a much better looking display than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Asus Fonepad 7 also has a higher 1280 x 800 resolution and a better screen pixels density. Asus Fonepad 7 counts with a much bigger storage to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 64 GB, the Asus Fonepad 7 also has 8 GB more internal memory capacity.

The Asus Fonepad 7 counts with a little bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory, 2 more processing cores and a 64-bits CPU. Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE counts with a very superior battery duration than Asus Fonepad 7.

Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE captures a bit better photos and videos than Asus Fonepad 7, although it has a much worse 1280x720 (HD) video quality and a way lower resolution back-facing camera.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE costs a little more money than Asus Fonepad 7, but you can get a better tablet for that few extra dollars.
