Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has an overall score of 61.7, which is a bit better than Asus MeMO Pad 8's 60.1 score. The Asus MeMO Pad 8 has a sharper screen than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a little bit larger display, a much better resolution of 1920 x 1200 and a way better screen density. Asus MeMO Pad 8 counts with a little bit better processing power than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with a greater number of cores and more RAM.
Asus MeMO Pad 8 features a very superior storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and although they both have a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 64 GB, the Asus MeMO Pad 8 also has 8 GB more internal memory capacity. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE counts with a much longer battery performance than Asus MeMO Pad 8.
Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE shoots clearer photos and videos than Asus MeMO Pad 8, although it has a way less mega pixels resolution camera in the back and a worse 1280x720 (HD) video definition.
The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE costs the same than Asus MeMO Pad 8, making it a very good choice.
