The Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus has an overall score of 63.1, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE's score of 61.7. The Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus body is incredibly newer, lighter and extremely thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE. Both of these tablets come with Android OS, but the Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus has the newer 7.1 Nougat version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has Android 4.1 version, providing you a couple nice extra features.

Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus counts with a much better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a way higher 1200 x 1920 resolution, a lot greater pixel density and a bit larger display. The Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus features a lot bigger storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has an external memory card slot that admits up to 128 GB and more internal storage.

The Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus counts with a superior hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM and a higher number of faster cores. Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus counts with longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a 4850mAh battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.

The Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus shoots much better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a lot higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and a camera in the back with a much better resolution.

Although Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, letting go some features and specs.
