Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has a global score of 61.7, which is a little bit better than LG G Pad 8.0's global score of 58.6. The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE design is a bit thicker and a bit heavier than the LG G Pad 8.0. Both devices in this comparison use Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has the older 4.1 version while LG G Pad 8.0 has Android 5.0.

LG G Pad 8.0 counts with a little better performance than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the LG G Pad 8.0 also has 2 more cores and a much better graphics processor running at 450 megahertz. LG G Pad 8.0 has a sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a little bit more pixels per inch in the screen, a bit bigger screen and a better 1280 x 800 resolution.

Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE shoots slightly better photographs and videos than LG G Pad 8.0, although it has a lot worse 1280x720 video quality and a much less mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera. LG G Pad 8.0 features a very superior storage to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and although they both have a SD extension slot that holds up to 64 GB, the LG G Pad 8.0 also has 16 GB internal storage.

LG G Pad 8.0 has a bit longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a 5% larger battery size.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE costs more than the LG G Pad 8.0, but you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
