LG G Pad X 8.0 has an overall score of 63.5, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE's overall score of 61.7. The LG G Pad X 8.0 is a noticeably newer tablet, and it is also incredibly thinner and lighter than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE. These devices come with Android operating system, but the LG G Pad X 8.0 has 6.0 Marshmallow version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has Android 4.1, providing the user some nice extra features and better performance.

The LG G Pad X 8.0 counts with a bit better looking display than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has way more pixels per display inch, a bit bigger screen and a lot higher 1200 x 1920px resolution. LG G Pad X 8.0 features a little faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processor, it also counts with 6 more processing cores and more RAM.

Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE shoots slightly better photographs and videos than LG G Pad X 8.0, although it has a much lower 1280x720 (HD) video quality and a way lower 3.2 MP resolution camera in the back. LG G Pad X 8.0 counts with much more memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB and more internal storage.

LG G Pad X 8.0 features just a little better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has 4650mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
