Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has a global score of 61.7, which is much better than the LG Optimus Pad's score of 50.3. Both tablets in this review use Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has a newer 4.1 version while LG Optimus Pad has Android 3.0, so it counts with a couple additional features and performance improvements. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE body is way lighter and thinner than the LG Optimus Pad.

LG Optimus Pad and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE feature extremely similar screens, because although the LG Optimus Pad has a little bit lower pixels density, it also counts with a better 768 x 1280px resolution and a bigger display. Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE features a little better processing power than LG Optimus Pad, and although they both have 2 processing cores, the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE also has an extra graphics processor.

LG Optimus Pad takes slightly better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a lot more mega pixels back-facing camera and a much better (Full HD) video definition. LG Optimus Pad has more memory capacity to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 24 GB more internal storage capacity.

Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has a very superior battery life than LG Optimus Pad.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE costs a little more money than LG Optimus Pad, but you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
