The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has a score of 61.7, which is just a bit better than the Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition's 60.4 overall score. These devices come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has the newer 4.1 version and Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition has Android 3.2 version, so it offers lots of additional features. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE's body is newer and somewhat lighter than Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition's, although it is also somewhat thicker.

The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has a bit faster processor than Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition, and although they both have the same number of cores and a 1 GB RAM memory, the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE also has a much better GPU working at 400 megahertz. Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition features a bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a better resolution of 800 x 1280px, a larger display and a little better quantity of pixels per inch of display.

Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition counts with a quite bigger storage for apps and games than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 32 GB internal memory capacity. The Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition captures a bit better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and although they both have the same 1280x720 video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition also has a back camera with lot more mega pixels.

Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has a little better battery lifetime than Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3900mAh.
