Comparison review

The Galaxy Note 8.0 has a score of 69.2, which is much better than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE's 61.7 score. Even when Galaxy Note 8.0 and Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE were released with only a few months difference, Galaxy Note 8.0 is extremely thinner and just a little bit lighter. These devices include Android OS, but the Galaxy Note 8.0 has a newer 4.4.2 version and Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has Android 4.1.

The Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with a bit more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a little bit bigger screen, a just a bit more pixels per inch in the display and a better resolution of 800 x 1280px. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with a much bigger memory to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and although they both have a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 64 GB, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 also has 8 GB more internal memory.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a quite better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a greater number of faster cores, 1 GB more RAM and a much better graphics processor working at 1064 megahertz. The Galaxy Note 8.0 has a little bit better camera than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 1280x720 video resolution, the Galaxy Note 8.0 also has a back camera with way more mega-pixels.

Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with a little better battery duration than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a 4600mAh battery capacity.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, else you can save some money and get the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, letting go some features and specifications.
